Wedding Anniversary Marriage of Nine Years - Pottery or Willow

Pottery symbolises the ability of an object to be moulded into a variety of shapes. Even as the creation of the human race has the human being created out of clay, so many of the utensils used in the home were made out of clay.

Currently being introduced into the contemporary wedding is the drinking of wine by the bride and groom from one container with two handles.
