Wedding at Home

What better place to have a wedding then in your own home, where you're comfortable, and so are your guests.

If your guests include only family and very close friends, you might hold the ceremony in your lounge room, followed by signing of the wedding documents on your dining room table.

Other options are the large verandah, shaded from the heat or the rain by an extended roof.

The bride will make her entrance from the bedroom to the wedding venue, while friends can video the event. Part of the celebration can be watching the video during the drinks and snacks that follows.

If you know that an influx of guests in your street may cause parking problems for your neighbours, or even that the noise may concern them, let them know beforehand that you're planning on a home wedding. Perhaps even invite them to come over. Many will appreciate your concern enough to allow your guests to park their cars in their yard.
