Wedding indoors can mean one that the couple hold in their own home. In particular, sometimes couples like to hold a wedding in their own home when they have just bought a new one.

Other indoor weddings can be both formal and informal. Couples are often offered the homes of their relatives and friends who have a bigger house - even an acreage - so which can house a huge number of guests.

As far as public indoor venues are concerned, there are hotels, clubs, reception centres which cater exclusively for weddings and functions, restaurants, chapels, college halls, historical buildings, and foyers in major buildings owned by councils and other semi-formal organisations.
