Wedding Outdoors
Outdoor weddings, in the beautiful area such as ours, is a natural. There are, forests, and parks, and beaches and backyards - all suitable for holding weddings almost all year round. Outdoor weddings create unusual spectacle and atmosphere. For the wedding march, couples have been accompanied by bagpipes, harps, guitars, saxophones, flutes, violins and even harmonicas. Instead of a single rose, guests have been greeted with garlands slipped over their necks in a welcoming ceremony remembered long after the guests scattered to their individual homes. Instead of red carpets, brides have walked on a path outlined with petals, flowers, pot plants, and sheltered candle lights. Tying the hands with cords or ribbons, drinking wine out of goblets, exchanging roses, have a greater rhyme or reason when performed under the huge branches of trees hundreds of years old. |
