Wedding Arrangements

One of the great things about getting married in Australia is that whether you marry in your own state, or choose to travel out of state, or even come to Australia from overseas, the requirements are both simple and exactly the same. To initiate the process, you do as follows:

1. Contact me about the date you've chosen, the time of the ceremony and the wedding venue.

2. Complete the 'Notice of Intended Marriage' Form, have it witnessed by the appropriate authority, (you will find this on the back of the form) and either post it or email it to me. I can post this form to you, or you can download it here. "Notice of Intended Marriage".

3. For a firm booking, you need to enclose a booking fee of $150 when you post the "Notice of Intended Marriage". This can be a cheque, money order, or an electronic transfer.

Your wedding date will be booked from the time I receive the form and the booking fee. If you're not quite sure about the details of your wedding, you can book your wedding and make a firm decision about time and place when you've made up your mind.

4. The balance of the fee is due one month before the wedding date.

5. Your Wedding Ceremony. To help you compile a ceremony uniquely your own, you will be given my huge Wedding Ceremony Manual of samples, examples and explanations.

You may choose them just as they are,  change them to suit your own particular situation and needs, or add your own personal material.

You can even create a completely original ceremony of your own.

6. I'm available to attend a rehearsal should you feel the need of one, and, if necessary, I can provide a PA System for the day.

7. For the day I'll ask for an emergency contact number in case of difficulties such as getting lost or car problems.
