Bridal March

How does the Bride make her entrance? There are any number of ways the bride may choose to make her entrance, depending on the wedding venue, and the couple's particular situation.

1. She can be preceded by her bridesmaids. Her bridesmaids, in their turn, are preceded by the child attendants - flower girls and the ring bearer. Although in many cases the ring bearer stand with the groomsmen and the groom.

2. If, in fact, the bride needs assistance with her train or veil, she will choose to come immediately before her bridesmaids, but after the young attendants. This is the way the English, and in particular, the English royal bride, makes her entrance.

3. The bride makes her entrance on the arm of her father, brother, mother, both parents, or her older child or children. Or she may choose to walk with a sister or even the groom.

4. If the bride chooses to walk alone, somewhere along the way she may be met by the groom, and escorted by him to where they will stand during the ceremony.
