Wedding on a Boat

 Wedding Checklist

Wedding on a boat can be planned in a variety of ways. Here are some hints on how to plan your boat wedding:

  • Guests gather at the quay where the wedding ceremony takes place, after which all the guests board the boat which either remains stationery, or goes on a trip for several hours.

  • While guests are on the quay, the wedding party and the celebrant are on board for conducting the wedding ceremony. Microphones help the guests hear the ceremony.

  • The guests are already on board when the wedding ceremony takes place.

  • On a boat with two decks, the ceremony itself takes place on one of them, while guests spill out on both.

  • While most ceremonies will take place while the boat is stationery so that the celebrant can leave at the end, there are also those couples who want to exchange their wedding vows, and their wedding rings, while cruising.

Plan a great boat wedding with the wedding book that has all the wedding planning hints you'll ever need.
